CALL FOR APPLICATIONS!

Master of Systems Analysis (363) and Systems Analysis Certificate (281)

The Naval Postgraduate School's Department of Operations Research is pleased to announce that it is currently accepting applications for its distance learning Master of Systems Analysis (MSA) degree (curriculum 363), and its distance learning Systems Analysis Certificate (curriculum 281) offered in partnership with the Chief of Naval Operations. Both the degree program and the certificate program begin the week of 30 September 2013. The programs are primarily targeted to Navy Unrestricted Line Officers (URL), and are also open to other uniformed officers, federal civilians, and defense contractor civilians when space is available. These programs are designed to prepare students to apply critical thinking and analytical skills to support key decisions in both operational and staff assignments.

Systems Engineering Non-Resident Master's Degree with Systems Development Focus

The Naval Postgraduate School (NPS) and its Department of Systems Engineering (recently ranked by US News & World Report as number 21 among the top 75 engineering schools for Systems Engineering) is pleased to announce the offering of a two year Systems Engineering Non-Resident Master’s degree program with a Systems Development focus commencing Tuesday 9 July 2013.  The program is open to qualified uniformed officers, federal employees and defense contractors.

The Naval Postgraduate School and its School of Business and Public Policy are pleased to announce the offering of an eight quarter part-time Master of Science in Contract Management by distance learning commencing Tuesday 9 July 2013. The MSCM program is open to qualified DoD uniformed officers, federal employees and a limited number of Defense contractors.

CALL FOR APPLICATIONS!

Joint Executive Systems Engineering Management (SEM)

The Naval Postgraduate School Department of Systems Engineering is pleased to announce this year's offering of the Joint Executive Systems Engineering Management (SEM) distance learning (DL) program offered in partnership with MIT's "Educational Consortium for Leadership in Project Development in the 21st Century" (PD21). The SEM-PD21 program is a two-year, eight-quarter, part-time master’s degree program delivered in an executive format. The September 2013-2015 class will commence with a two-week kickoff on campus in Monterey, CA., September 16–27, 2013.

The 2013-2015 class is limited to 25 students. Each service (Army, Air Force, Navy) and defense contractors are allocated 5 seats each (20 total). The remaining 5 open seats are available to the best qualified candidates from any DoD or federal agency. The program is open to qualified uniformed officers, federal employees, and defense contractor civilians. Qualified active duty Navy and Marine Corps officers may be eligible for NPS mission funding but the student or their command will be responsible to purchase books and pay for all travel associated with the program.

USMC Participation in NPS DL Programs

NPS Distance Learning (DL) programs are temporarily not accepting applications for new USMC students. NPS, in conjunction with HQMC, is developing a new policy regarding USMC participation in NPS DL programs. The approved DL programs will be opened for Marine Corps applicants as soon as possible once the policy is in place.
