TNT 11-4

More than 70 experiments occurred at TNT 11-4, including two JIEDDO projects, a military assessment for the Research and Experimentation for Local and International Emergency and First Responders (RELIEF), Capability Based Experimentation (CBE), and Mission Based Experimentation (MBE), the theme of which was small team power generation. In addition to these scheduled experiments, at least 15-25 ad hoc experiments also took place. For the first time, the event was assigned a general theme: cellular communications for SOF. 855 people attended the event, 98 of whom participated in RELIEF, including representatives from federal agencies, NGOs, and local first responder organizations. Attendees came from 115 companies, 68 government entities, and 7 universities. CBE had S&T representatives from all five of SOCOM’s constituent entities, as well as SOCOM’s Director of Experimentation. SOCCENT, CENTCOM, NORTHCOM, EUCOM, SOUTHCOM, and PACOM also had representatives at the event. The Honorable Zachary Lemnios, Assistant Secretary of Defense, Research, and Engineering visited Camp Roberts this quarter and toured the event.
