Arriving By Air:

Monterey is serviced by three major airlines, including United Express, American, and US Airways.

*  All flights arriving in Monterey connect through San Francisco, Los Angeles, Denver or Phoenix

Taxis:

Yellow Cab is the only taxi company authorized to access the installation.

Rental Cars:

• All rental car companies, except Enterprise, are located in the terminal building.
• After picking up your car, follow the exit signs to "Garden Road".
• Turn right on Garden Road. Stay on Garden Road until it dead-ends at Mark Thomas Drive.
• Turn Left on Mark Thomas Drive. Stay on Mark Thomas Drive until the first traffic light (Sloat Ave).
• Proceed to the appropriate gate.

Arriving By Car:

From Monterey Peninsula Airport

• The road leading out of the airport is Olmstead Road    
• Follow Olmstead Road to Garden Road - first street on the right
• Turn right onto Garden Road
•  Take Garden Road to 3-way traffic light; turn left onto Mark Thomas Drive
•  Turn right onto Sloat Avenue at first traffic light
• Proceed to the appropriate gate.

San Francisco

• Take US Route 101 South toward Prunedale
• At Prunedale, take CA Route 156 West to CA Route 1 South
• Proceed on CA Route 1 S to Monterey
• Take the "Del Monte Avenue" exit
• Proceed to the appropriate gate.

From Los Angeles and San Diego

• Take US Hwy 5 North toward Sacramento
•  At Lost Hills, take CA Route 46 West toward Paso Robles
• At Paso Robles, take US Route 101 North toward Salinas
•  At Salinas, take CA Route 68 West to Monterey
•  Stay left on 68 W to merge onto CA Route 1 South
• Take the first "Monterey" exit
•  Stay left on the exit, turn left onto Aguajito Road
•  After .5 miles turn left at Mark Thomas Drive
•  Follow Mark Thomas Drive to Sloat Avenue
• Proceed to the appropriate gate.

Sacramento:

• Take I-5 South to Hwy 152 West to Hwy 156 West.
• Take Hwy 101 South to Prunedale, then Hwy 156 West to Hwy 1.
• Take Hwy 1 South to Monterey.
• Take the Del Monte Avenue Exit for approximately 7 blocks.
• Proceed to the appropriate gate.

Fresno:

• Take Hwy 99 North to Hwy 152/33 West to 156 West.
• Take Hwy 101 South to Prunedale, then Hwy 156 West to Hwy 1.
• Take Hwy 1 South to Monterey.
• Take the Del Monte Avenue Exit for approximately 7 blocks.
• Proceed to the appropriate gate.

Bakersfield:

• Take I-5 to Hwy 46 West to Hwy 101 North to Salinas.
• Take Hwy 68 West (Monterey Peninsula Exit) to Airport Road.
• Right on Airport Road, then left on Garden Road.
• Follow directions for rental car detailed above.

Santa Barbara:

• Take Hwy 101 North to Salinas, then Hwy 68 West (Monterey Peninsula Exit) to Airport Road.
• Right on Airport Road, then left on Garden Road.
• Follow directions for rental car detailed above
