Lt Col (USA Ret.) William Chadwick has served in and out of uniform with the military in a variety of jobs. As a U. S. Army Special Forces officer he was the senior military advisor in a 1500-square kilometer zone in El Salvador, a contested combat zone. He administered U. S. Department of State aid interventions to support infrastructure enhancements, democratization and nation building. In addition, he directed interagency coordination with host nation organizations to defeat an active armed insurgency and supervised a team of soldiers and support staff in the embassy, to coordinate activities with international private volunteer organizations.
He also served in the Army Acquisition Corps performing duties as a Program Manager, Chief of Combat Developments and Deputy Chief of Staff for Force Development, United States Army Special Operations Command. In these assignments he supervised the development, manufacturing and fielding of equipment for Special Operations Forces. He is a graduate of the Defense Systems Management College Program Management Course.
After retiring from the military he has served in a series of roles consulting to Department of Defense clients on technical and management issues. Clients include Joint Special Operations Command and the United States Army National Guard. He deploys to locations in and out of CONUS in support of Department of Defense missions.
