Business and Education Partnerships

In order to successfully execute the university's mission, the Naval Postgraduate School collaborates with countless institutions of all kinds both domestically and abroad. Research partnerships and relationships are critical to the institution's multimillion dollar research program -- NPS currently maintains relationships with several DoD activities, state and local governments and universities.

In addition, the university is also a member of regional partnerships with educational and research institutions all around the Monterey Bay. These partnerships include:

Monterey County Higher Education and Research Community Cluster (http://edres.mcbusiness.org).
Collectively, higher education and research institutions contribute more to the local economy behind only agriculture and tourism. These Competitive Clusters bring like organizations together to promote collaboration and best practices.

Higher Education Communications Alliance (HECA)
HECA is an alliance of communications and marketing professionals from area educational, research and government institutions. The alliance aims to collaborate on opportunities to share the breadth of educational sophistication that exists across the Monterey crescent.

Monterey Peninsula Chamber of Commerce
NPS officials are active member of the Education Committee, Marketing Committee.
