Periodically the US Air Force Air Combat Command (ACC) will be providing opportunities to hear unique perspectives on survival techniques. The series will be presented via VTC and will be accessible to NPS personnel. We will be listing the sessions below as they are announced. Please continue to visit this page for updates.

"Lessons from Nature: Survival Strategies in a Hostile Physical Environment"
8 May, 1400-1600 (EST)
Bullard Hall, Rm 201C

Briefer: Professor Mark Denny, Stanford University

For more information please view the slide presentation and the abstract/bio from Prof Denny on subject matter which will be presented on 8 May. The VTC series format will be 1400-1500 for presentation followed by optional discussion from 1500-1600.

ACC is also asking that all VTC participants take part in a short survey to get a better feel for future presentations, determine how beneficial the presentations are to you and ACC, and so forth, so please disseminate the survey link to those individuals within your organization/unit who will be participating in the VTC. The survey can be found at http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/NGG5HHT by using a CTRL + click on the link or by copying and pasting the link into your browser.
