- Fees, Tuition and Sponsorships
Fees, tuition and sponsorships are to be utilized for course development, delivery and maintenance.
Planning is important as the course can not make a profit. All delivery costs must be covered when the tuition fees are set.
Excess funding can be used to improve the "quality" of course materials.
- Indirect Rates
The Other Sponsored Activity, Navy indirect rate applies if NPS is the sponsor of the Short Course/Conference/Symposia.
If the Short Course/Conference/Symposium is sponsored by an entity other than NPS, the identity of the sponsor will determine
the indirect rate (Navy Other Sponsored Activity or non-Navy Other Sponsored Activity)
