Dudley Knox Library Open to the Community The Dudley Knox Library welcomes visitors, researchers and members of the community. While general access to the Naval Postgraduate School is currently limited to Active Duty and Retired military personnel and DoD personnel employed by NPS, special access can be arranged for the general public on a case by case basis. Please notify us at least 48 hours in advance of your planned visit to the Library so that your name can be added to the NPS gate access list and we can provide you with the appropriate ID and vehicle registration requirements.
