Use this link if you wish to see what materials are currently checked out to you and/or view other information regarding holds, recalls or messages placed against your account. For assistance, please contact the Circulation Desk at (831) 656-2947 or e-mail circdesk@nps.edu.

To review your account in BOSUN - the Dudley Knox Library's online catalog:

1. From the Library's homepage, click BOSUN
2. Click My Account located in the gray bar at the top center of the screen
3. Click Review My Account
4. Enter your User Name (ALT ID)* - use UPPERCASE, AND your Password (PIN)**. Click on Display User Information.
5. If any of the categories have information (checkouts, recalls, etc.), they will be listed at the top, and the number of items pertinent to the category will appear before the category (e.g. 12 checkouts; etc.)
6. To view the information within a specific category (e.g. checkouts), click that category and the information will be provided
7. If you wish to renew items currently checked out to you, follow the instructions for Online Renewal of Library Materials

* For NPS personnel (faculty, students, staff), your User Name (ALT ID) is your Network login name entered in UPPER CASE. If you find that your User Name does not work and/or to make changes to your User Name, please contact the Circulation Desk at (831) 656-2947 or e-mail circdesk@nps.edu.  Library users who are not NPS personnel should contact the Circulation Desk to set up a User Name (ALT ID).

** Your Password (PIN) is a randomly generated (usually 4-digit) number, which should be written on either the front or back of your library card (for Distance Learning students, this information should have been provided to you by email at the time that your Library account was created). If you do not have your PIN information, please contact the Circulation Desk at (831) 656-2947 or e-mail circdesk@nps.edu.
