NPS Faculty, Staff and Students,
As we welcome another holiday season and look ahead to 2026, John and I extend our heartfelt thanks for your extraordinary efforts throughout the past year. While 2025 brought no shortage of challenges, you answered every call with professionalism, resilience, and an unwavering commitment to our mission and to our students. Because of you, NPS advanced with purpose and delivered meaningful impact for the Navy, the Joint Force, our allies and partners, and the broader national security community.
As the year draws to a close, I encourage each of you to pause, take well-earned leave, and truly disconnect when you are able. Spend time with the people who matter most—family, friends, and loved ones who support you, ground you, and make your service possible. These moments of rest, connection, and reflection are not just deserved; they are essential to our well-being and to the strength of our community.
This season also offers us an opportunity to reflect on the values we share, the bonds we have built as shipmates and colleagues, and the care we owe one another. Whether your holidays are filled with celebration or quiet reflection, know that you are deeply appreciated and that your contributions matter.
May this holiday season bring you rest, gratitude, and renewal.
Merry Christmas, happy holidays, and wishing you peace and joy in 2026.
