2025 Fall Graduation

Congratulations to our 2025 Fall Quarter Graduates and Award Winners!

The 2025 Fall quarter class includes 295 graduates, earning a total of 301 degrees. This class consists of 82 U.S. Navy; 37 U.S. Marine Corps; 65 U.S. Army; 30 U.S. Air Force; 56 civilians; and 19 international graduates. Of the graduates, 3 earned doctoral degrees, 4 Engineering degrees, and 288 earned master’s degrees, and 29 are distance learning students.

2025 Fall Quarter Graduation - Dec. 19, 2025

The Naval Postgraduate School (NPS) celebrated its 2025 Fall Quarter graduates during a commencement ceremony, Dec. 19, 2025, in King Hall auditorium. Advanced degrees in defense-focused disciplines were awarded to 295 graduates, among them 19 international military officers representing U.S. allies and partners worldwide.

"With this new knowledge and understanding, it gives me the ability to go forward fully informed and be able to conduct my job,” said U.S. Marine Corps Master Sgt. Steven Bush, a 2025 Fall Quarter graduate from NPS’ Department of Defense Analysis and the latest winner of the Marine Corps Association’s Superior Service Award for Outstanding U.S. Marine Student.

Capt. Drew Switzer, U.S. Air Force

U.S. Air Force Capt. Drew Switzer graduates this Friday, Dec. 19, with his Naval Postgraduate School (NPS) master’s in security studies focused on Europe/Eurasia. His NPS thesis, winner of the Foreign Area Officer Association Award for Excellence in International Affairs, explores the role of a nation’s intelligence culture on its counterintelligence effectiveness from hybrid threats.
