2025 Summer Graduation

Congratulations to our 2025 Summer Quarter Graduates and Award Winners!

The Graduating Class

The 2025 Summer quarter class includes 233 graduates, earning a total of 235 degrees. This class consists of 67 U.S. Navy; 34 U.S. Marine Corps; 6 U.S. Army; 12 U.S. Air Force; 95 civilians; and 19 international graduates representing 8 countries. Of the graduates, 4 earned doctoral degrees, 229 earned master’s degrees, 121 are distance learning students, and 38 have completed Joint Professional Military Education (JPME).

U.S. Navy Rear Adm. Michael S. Mattis, director of strategic effects for U.S. Naval Forces Europe and Africa and Commander, Task Force 66 (CTF-66), celebrated graduates, highlighting the school's pivotal role in advancing naval innovation through CTF-66.

Capt. Connor Ybarra, U.S. Marine Corps

U.S. Marine Corps Capt. Connor Ybarra is the recipient of the Naval Postgraduate School’s (NPS) Summer Quarter Marine Corps Association Superior Service Award for Outstanding Marine Student

Lt. Col. Jennifer Nolta, U.S. Air Force

Nolta’s thesis focused on the continued advancement of an NPS-developed small, low-cost, terahertz-to-infrared focal plane array for remote sensing from space. Her efforts to improve the sensor’s performance build upon the work of several NPS graduates that have come before her.

Lt. Hayden Burger, U.S. Navy

Burger’s award-winning NPS career includes an operations research degree, a graduate certificate in data science, and a thesis recognized with the Surface Navy Association’s Award for Excellence in Surface Navy Research.
