Overview

Chris is employed as a Faculty Associate (Research) at the Meyer Institute of Systems Engineering in the Department of Systems Engineering at the Naval Postgraduate School (NPS), Monterey, CA. He holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Missouri – Rolla (now Missouri University of Science and Technology (MS&T)) and an M.E. in Mechanical Engineering from Colorado State University. Prior to joining NPS, he supported the Super Hornet EMD program as an Instrumentation Engineer and as a Systems Engineer on a national asset sustainment program. His research interests include systems architecture and design, MBSE, and agent-based simulation. He is currently enrolled in the Systems Engineering Ph. D. program at NPS. Also, Chris serves as a Commander in the Navy Reserve, currently with a unit which supports research projects at the Director of Navy Staff (DNS) in the Pentagon. Since leaving active duty, he has held various positions with ANGLICO, EUCOM, NECC, NATO,and ONR. Most recently, he completed a ten month ADSW period as a Deputy Program Officer at ONR. Previously, he completed a thirteen month mobilization as Director of Future Operations (FOPS) at U.S. Naval Forces Central Command, Task Force 51, Manama, Bahrain. Chris is a Surface Warfare Officer and qualified Naval Parachutist.
