Overview
Dr. Fabian Wilking is currently an Assistant Professor at the Naval Postgraduate School in the Systems Engineering Department. Previously, he was a research associate at Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen–Nürnberg (Germany), where he also earned his doctorate in Mechanical Engineering. He holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering and Management with a specialization in Mechanical Engineering from Paderborn University (Germany). His research focuses on model-based systems engineering, digital twins, and complex defense systems, such as unmanned surface vessels.
