Ms. Maddox holds 25 years of experience in government contract management and related educational fields as both a private and public civilian, and USAF military officer. She has significant experience in all phases of federal contracting. She also served as contracting officer with an unlimited warrant and held a Top Secret Clearance as a contractor for the National Reconnaissance Office. She is a published author, researcher, contract-pricing expert, and specialized contract developer for DAU/ACE equivalency products. She has developed and conducted contract management seminars, training, workshops and distance learning classes for Federal Prime Contractors, Universities, NCMA, DOD, and several Federal Civilian Agencies. She served as Assistant Professor and Deputy Head of the Quantitative Management Department at the Air Force Institute of Technology where she led DOD/AFIT’s development of the current contract pricing reference guides, referenced in the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) as guidance for contract pricing.
She is currently a contract advisor for the Civil-Military Relations Center (CCMR) at the Naval Postgraduate School. She is involved directly in acquiring and managing several knowledge-type advisory service vehicles for subject matter experts (SME) that specialize in civil military topics and the professional program staff that support the SMEs. She holds a secret clearance and is a lifetime certified professional contract manager (CPCM).
