Overview

Graduated University of Michigan with a BS NA&ME. Earned an MSME and subsequently a Ph.D. through the NPS MAE Department. Served in the Navy as a Surface Warfare Officer and Engineering Duty Officer prior to transitioning to the Navy Reserve. Holding the rank of CAPT, he is assigned as a staff officer for NAVSEA 00R. The current Director of the Total Ship Systems Engineering (TSSE) Program, Naval Ship Design Chair, and Nimitz Research Group Academic Lead.
