The Adaptive Optics Center of Excellence for National Security is a newly established research center sponsored by the Office of Naval Research (ONR), the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO), and the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL).  The center offer hands-on education and research in adaptive optics, advanced electro-optical imaging systems, high energy laser systems, spacecraft design, laser communications, and other related fields that are important for our national security.  The center also offers various thesis topics for M.S. and Ph.D. students.
