The Unmanned Systems Lab

CAVR occupies the Unmanned Systems Lab on the Naval Postgraduate school campus. The 8000 sq ft , 3 story building that was remolded in 2008 specifically for autonomous vehicle research. The first floor contains a 7ft deep test pool along with 3 workshops and storage rooms. The second floor is mostly open to allow aerial vehicles to fly up to the open third floor. The offices and a conference room are located on the second floor.
