Dr. Jeffrey D. Paduan, Dean of Research, granted formal approval to establish the Center on Combating Hybrid Threats at the Naval Postgraduate School on 19 February 2021.
 
The CCHT serves as an interdisciplinary center of highly diverse faculty who conduct research, education programs, and outreach in order to enhance NPS students and partners with the strategic, operational, and technological means necessary to detect, deny, disrupt, degrade, defeat and ultimately deter hybrid threats.
