CIWI-Facilitated Courses & Events - Under construction

Information Warfare Community Professional Development  

CIWI organizes periodic, non-TAD day-trips to Silicon Valley, Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory and other sites of professional interest, and also hosts visits from government, military and industry experts to the NPS campus.     These interactions are designed to provide IWC officers insights into leading-edge commercial and non-DoD strategies in information technology, cyber security, workforce management, innovation, responsiveness to customer needs, leadership, and security .   

Beginning April 2014, CIWI hosted monthly speakers from Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command, San Diego, to update NPS students and faculty on the latest Navy Information Warfare-related technologies - such as Afloat Networks, Unmanned Systems, Communications and GPS Navigation, etc. -  from the very program offices that are responsible for fielding them to the Fleet.
