Ms. Nona (Noni) Jones, Treasury Department Sanctions Investigator, will present a brown bag discussion on the latest going on with regard to Russia/Ukraine sanctions and foreign asset control.

The brown bag will be in ING278 unless we need to move it to a larger room.

The Office of Foreign Assets Control ("OFAC") of the U.S. Department of the Treasury administers and enforces economic and trade sanctions based on US foreign policy and national security goals against targeted foreign countries and regimes, terrorists, international narcotics traffickers, those engaged in activities related to the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction, and other threats to the national security, foreign policy or economy of the United States.   This presentation will provide an overview of OFAC sanctions, the life cycle of an OFAC sanctions target, and a deep dive into OFAC’s cyber sanctions targeting program.
