Operational Energy Certificate Program - 117

Operational Energy Certificate: Unmanned Autonomous Persistence

CURRICULUM 117

The Naval Postgraduate School is pleased to announce the Operational Energy Certificate: Unmanned Autonomous Persistence. The certificate program is an accredited graduate program that consists of four asynchronous on-line courses, normally delivered one course per quarter for four quarters.

Certificate of Completion: Unmanned Autonomous Persistence

Eligibility

The program is open to federal civilian employees. U.S. uniformed military personnel, and defense industrial contractors. Eligible international students are also admitted on a space available basis. All applicants must have earned a bachelor's degree. To be selected for admittance, applicants must demonstrate a sufficient background in general physics, probability, and statistics.

Delivery

Each course is delivered asynchronously via a web-based system known as Sakai. Sakai is the repository of all course materials. Instructors create weekly modules for students to access and complete. These modules include syllabus, reading materials, power point slides, recorded lectures, homework assignments with solutions, quizzes, and exams.

Tuition

All applicants must verify eligibility and funding with their respective organizations before applying. NPS is mission-funded to educate officers of the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps; tuition for all others is typically covered through agency or command sponsorship. Self-funding of individuals is not allowed. Contact the EAG Academic Associate for more information on tuition.
