Centers and Labs - Electrical and Computer Engineering
ECE RESEARCH CENTERS
Research conducted by ECE faculty covers a wide range of defense-related areas ranging from electronic warfare, cyber systems, and advanced information warfare systems, to microgrids and shipboard electric power. These research projects are conducted in coordination with the following centers:
The Center for Cyber Warfare (CCW) is an interdisciplinary problem solving research center in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at the Naval Postgraduate School (NPS) in Monterey, California. The CCW faculty work in collaboration with other universities and innovative commercial companies to deliver basic and applied research solutions to the Navy, U.S. government, DoD, and intelligence communities.

The Center for MultiINT Studies (CMIS) is an interdisciplinary research center in the Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) department at the Naval Postgraduate School (NPS) in Monterey, California. CMIS faculty and staff have a rich and diverse educational background that include but not limited to electrical and computer engineering, physics, mathematics, operational research, computer science, mechanical engineering, and oceanography. CMIS also works in collaboration with US government, DoD and DoE agencies, as well as academic institutions to solve to solve mission critical problems that face the Navy, DoD, and intelligence communities.
Laboratories
