Administrative Grievance System - Human Resources Office
Administrative Grievance System
Grievances presented by employees under the Administrative Grievance System (AGS) will be considered expeditiously, fairly, and impartially, and resolved as quickly as possible. All persons involved in the dispute resolution process shall be free from restraint, interference, coercion, discrimination, or reprisal. The procedures set forth in SECNAVINST 12771.2 are designed to achieve these objectives.
The AGS covers current non-bargaining unit employees. It also covers former employees with respect to matters arising during their previous employment, provided a remedy is available consistent with applicable law and regulation. The AGS covers bargaining unit employees when a matter covered by the AGS cannot be grieved under the negotiated grievance procedure.
For additional information, or for assistance in utilizing the AGS, please contact Employee Relations.
