Brooke Love Adame

Ms. Brooke Love Adame is an Associate for the Institute for Security Governance (ISG) International Defense Acquisition Resource Management (IDARM) Program within the Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) and had over twelve years' experience supporting global graduate level in-resident and mobile educational programs for international partners in support of security cooperation and assistance. Ms. Adame joined the IDARM faculty in 2012 and currently teaches, manages program budgeting and execution and is the regional program lead for IDARM programs within Latin America and the Carribbean. In 2016, she designed a regionally tailored defense acquisition contract management course which has increased Latin American participation in IDARM courses by an average of fifteen percent. Ms. Adame received her BA in Social Sciences, with concentrations in International Relations and Environmental Studies, and a minor in Latin American Studies from California State University Chico. She also earned Spanish and Conservation Biology credits at La Universidad Nacional in Heredia, Costa Rica. She is completing her Master of Science (M.S.) in Program Management within the Graduate School of Business and Public Policy at NPS. Her thesis work focuses on defense program manager sensemaking and decision-making within the defense acquisition managment system. Her other research and teaching interests include defense budgeting, project management, international negotiations, human capital management, and transparency and accountability.
