NMAU assists active duty members and their families with completing their OPERATIONAL/OVERSEAS/SEA DUTY/SUITABILITY SCREENING (all refer to the same screening), or MEDICAL ASSIGNMENT SCREENING (after a period of limited duty). Per BUMEDINST 1300.2B, the Suitability Screening process is required to be completed within 30 days of receipt of orders, 60 days for dependents.
