Caribou Biofuels, Inc. was founded in 2019 by Kieran Mitchell and Dr. Blake Simmons. Caribou Biofuels’ mission is to combat the global climate crisis by sustainably converting waste into valuable outputs through a carbon negative process. Our product—the patented Inclined Rotary Gasifier (IRG)—is an innovative gasification technology.    Caribou Biofuels partners with experts across engineering, bioenergy, business development, and economics as well as distinguished research facilities such as Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, and The Research Foundation for the State University of New York to successfully deploy a world class carbon sequestering technology.
