Campus Crusade for Christ

You've come to Monterey to listen and to learn many things. You will ask and answer many questions. But have you found the answers to life's most important questions: Who is God? Who am I? What am I to do with my life? The military ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ is here to help you answer these and other questions of life and spirituality through retreats, bible studies, discipleship groups, and individual discipleship. Bible studies are held at NPS in the El Prado room Tuesday and Thursday 0700-0800.

The NPS and Ord Military Community Chapels (OMC) have a combined teen program. Weekly meetings are held from 1800 to 2000 every Wednesday at the OMC Chapel that combine sharing, study, and fun. Participation in Chapel Life

If you're interested in putting your faith in action, utilizing your God given abilities, helping those in need, growing spiritually, or learning to be of greater service to God in the NSA community, then we invite you to join the ministry of our Chapel. Please take a moment to look at the opportunities to use your talents , knowledge, and/or experience you will see described below.

Musicians Needed

Do you play a musical instrument? Then join us as we make joyful music to the Lord every Sunday. We would love to experience your talents during our worship services.

Children’s Church Teachers and Assistants Needed

The 1000 service is in need of teachers and assistants in order to maximize the worship experience for you and your children.  Once we have volunteers, we allow the kids to go with teacher to another room in Herrmann Hall after the Chaplain has given the Children's Sermon. You can sign up for a week or a month to help. All teaching materials will be provided, but you are welcome to use your own materials. Please contact the Chaplain's Office at (831)656-2241.

I-HELP Volunteers Needed

The purpose of this ministry is to feed the homeless and we can always use volunteers to go to the Sanctuary Bible Church in Carmel Valley the second Saturday of every other month. Please click on the I-HELP link above or under "Items of Special Interest" or speak to a chaplain if you feel called to this ministry.

If you are interested in more information about these groups please contact the Chaplain's Office at 831-656-2241
