About DRMI

The Defense Resources Management Institute (DRMI) provides integrated professional education programs in resources management and analytical decision making for military officers of all services, and civilian defense officials from the United States and 170 partner nations. Established in 1965 as an educational institution by the Secretary of Defense, the DRMI is located at the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, California. The DRMI's multi-disciplinary faculty conduct graduate-level executive education courses in Monterey and tailored courses and seminars at other locations in the U.S. and abroad upon request.

COVID-19 Update (updated 15 July 2020)

The Defense Resources Management Institute (DRMI) is currently planning for the resumption of resident course instruction beginning with the Senior International Defense Management (SIDMC) course in August with a “blended learning” environment. This plan combines in-person instruction in compliance with social distancing requirements and distance learning (DL) for any participants who may be required to self-quarantine upon arrival in Monterey.

Due to the ongoing impacts of COVID-19, we have changed our resident course schedule for the remainder of FY20 and through FY21. The following FY20 resident courses have been rescheduled for October-December 2020 (see specific course info for updated dates):
