null Professor David Yost recognized as Distinguished Professor

Prof. Yost is a specialist in European security institutions, NATO, and deterrence.  Since joining NPS in 1979, he has published several books, monographs, and book chapters with leading university and commercial presses, as well as research articles in leading academic and policy journals, both nationally and internationally.  His teaching, thesis advising, and service in the NSA department bring great credit to this institution and contribute to its standing within the Navy. 

 

I wish to thank Distinguished Prof. Robert Looney for nominating Prof. Yost for this honor, and express my gratitude to all those in the NPS leadership who supported his candidacy.
