Summary |
NPS desires to work with industry and apply its knowledge base and expertise to an understanding of problems associated with and finding solutions for integrating new weapon systems onto currently deployed Navy ships. NPS and the Navy shall realize the benefits of this study, gaining a greater expertise and better understanding of the problems and challenges of retrofitting existing platforms with new launchers or new uses for current launch systems. The results of this study can provide inputs to determine an investment roadmap for the Navy that can introduce new capabilities aboard current ship platforms. |
