The Office of Research & Innovation (OR&I) is responsible for ensuring policies and procedures are in place to efficiently carry out NPS research programs.  It provides leadership across campus and promotes efficient processes, effective communications, stakeholder (Fleet) engagements, and partnerships with DoN/DoD RDT&E organizations, industry, and academia.  OR&I supports a balanced NPS Research Portfolio of foundational, faculty-driven projects and applied, institutional-led, multi-disciplinary and innovative programs that support the graduate educational experience of our students, advance the state-of-the-art for the DoN/DoD, and support the Naval Innovation Center at NPS.
