BUQ Training - Office of Research & Innovation
sUAS Training
A single required stand-alone four-hour Basic UAS Qualification (BUQ I/II) course is to be taken at Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems Manager website (https://suasman.sofapps.net/Site/Home). Go to this website, request the access, and complete the course when access is authorized (within a couple of days). If you experience any difficulty, contact Ms. Kim Censabella, HQ AFSOC/A3OU, at kimberly.censabella.1.ctr@us.af.mil or (850) 884-8022.
Once you completed the course, save the course certificate as BUQ_Certificate_Surname.pdf and email it to NPS_UAS_Ops with "BUQ Certificate" in the subject line.
Note, this course is equivalent to the SOCOM-US796 (BUQ I) and SOCOM-US841 (BUQ II) courses that were previously available at Department of Defense Joint Knowledge Online website but have now been rescinded.
