Tanya Gogue, Inspector General
In August 2025, Ms. Tanya Gogue assumed her position as the Inspector General for the Naval Postgraduate School. Previously, from June 2023, she was the Deputy Inspector General for the Naval Postgraduate School.
Ms. Gogue’s federal service within the Department of Defense, has included serving as a civilian for the United States Navy, the United States Marine Corps, the United States Air Force, and the Department of Defense Office of Inspector General. She has served as a Command Inspector General for three organizations, with experience in leading, directing, monitoring, and conducting inspections, reviews, and investigations around the globe. She also has extensive experience in risk management, internal control, and process improvement, including being a trained Lean Six Sigma black belt.
Ms. Gogue received her Bachelor of Deaf Education from the University of Tulsa, and her master’s in business administration from the University of Phoenix.
