Naval War College Monterey Honors Top JPME Graduates

The Naval War College (NWC) Monterey program for Joint Professional Military Education (JPME) recognized students earning academic honors during the third quarter of Academic Year 2019, July 23, during a brief ceremony in Halligan Hall.
Graduates earning ‘with Highest Distinction’ honors by completing the JPME program in the top five percent of their class are Navy Lts. Brandon A. Davis and Michael Lacey, Marine Corps Maj. Rodney M. James, Army Maj. Andrew McKinley, and Army Cpt. Maria C. Smith.
Graduates earning ‘with Distinction’ honors by completing the JPME program in the top 15 percent of their class are Navy Lt. Cdr. Brandon Gosch, Navy Lts. Kelly L. Bischoff, Wanda I. Colon, Laurel E. Fernandes, Daniel J. Godkin, Vikram Kanth, Marian M. Kendrick, and Jonathan R. Wheeler; Army Majs. Michael Hitzner, Justin V. Padua, and Benjamin M. Yourous; Army Cpts. Youngmin Park and Brian Wright; and, Marine Capt. Jason R. Hotalen.
Through the NPS-NWC partnership, a total of 5,369 officers have earned their JPME Phase I certification since the program’s inception in September 1999.
